Based in Quimper in Brittany, Laiterie Le Gall was created in 1923. We specialize in churned butter, cream and fermented milk.
Know-how and respect for tradition are a reflection of Le Gall’s philosophy. They have a great respect for traditional manufacturing methods by doing so they are able to guarantee 100% natural products that do not contain colouring or preservatives.
In 2008, Le Gall churned butters using raw milk were awarded the silver medal in the General Agricultural Competition, by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.
Thanks to the collection of our milk within a radius of 80 kilometres around Quimper and the traditional maturing method used, Le Gall is able to guarantee products of a quality beyond reproach.
Le Gall also owes its success to a its 45-member strong workforce. Maintaining production on a human scale, a relationship of trust and dialogue exists and is maintained with our customers.
At Laiterie Le Gall, master butter makers still make the butter. They are the only ones to hold the key to how it is made.
