One of the best grape varietals, the Trebbiano di Spagna, is pressed slowly and softly, resulting in a clear, transparent liquid that is then separated and filtered.
The filtered liquid is centrifuged to increase its concentration without the application of heat. The concentrated liquid, called grape must, is then transferred to barrels made from the wood of the Frassino (Ash) tree and then left to stand for five years.
Frassino wood is used because of its perfume and its clarifying properties. Our Prelibato Balsamo is made creamy because of the wood. No other ingredients are added and the product is 100% natural.
